A welding workstation mat has to cope with much more than constant foot traffic. Sparks, red-hot swarf, sharp metal shavings and dropped tools all put the surface under pressure. Handles sparks and hot, sharp metal swarf

Welding sparks and hot metal chips can quickly damage an ordinary workplace mat. Yoga Tex is designed to withstand sparks as well as glowing and sharp swarf, giving the operator a durable standing surface close to the work area. The SBR rubber top is also hard-wearing enough for tough industrial use. Yoga Tex is a spark-resistant standing mat, not a universal fireproof covering or a replacement for welding screens, fire blankets and other required safety equipment. Cushioning for long periods of standing

Yoga Tex tolerates medium exposure to oil. It can therefore be used where occasional splashes of oil or cutting fluid are possible, but it should not be treated as a fully oil-resistant mat for a constantly wet or heavily contaminated floor. Removing spills and loose swarf promptly helps keep the standing area in good working order.

Helps dampen impact noise and tool clatter

When a spanner, hand tool or small metal component lands on concrete, the impact produces a sharp sound. The 9 mm mat helps dampen that local noise and reduces tool clatter at the workstation.
