Barrier tape for fast and visible area control

A maintenance job begins, part of a warehouse must be closed, or a loading area needs to remain clear. In each case, people need to understand the new boundary before they reach it. Barrier tape offers a direct way to mark that boundary, warn of a temporary hazard and discourage access to the cordoned-off area.

The tape is suitable for temporary use indoors and outdoors. It can be secured to barrier posts, traffic cones or other suitable supports, making it practical for workplaces where the layout or access arrangements can change during the day. The range includes two different designs: black and yellow barrier tape for highly visible general demarcation, and a wider PÄÄSY KIELLETTY – NO ADMITTANCE tape for situations that require an explicit access restriction.

Use barrier posts or traffic cones to create a clear boundary

Barrier tape can be secured to barrier posts or traffic cones to mark the required perimeter. Before setting it out, identify the area that must remain closed and decide where people should pass instead. A simple, continuous line is easier to understand than isolated pieces of warning tape.

Both options are intended for temporary area control indoors and outdoors. Choose the striped warning tape for general demarcation or the printed No Admittance tape when access must be clearly prohibited.

Black and yellow barrier tape for general warning

The black and yellow striped option gives work areas a strong visual boundary. Its familiar contrasting colours suit general hazard marking where staff, contractors, drivers or visitors need to see that an area has been set apart. The striped design communicates caution without relying on written instructions, which makes it a practical choice in busy workplaces. The tape resists UV exposure and tearing, supporting temporary use both indoors and outdoors.

PÄÄSY KIELLETTY – NO ADMITTANCE tape for restricted areas

Some situations call for more than a general visual warning. The white access restriction tape carries the message PÄÄSY KIELLETTY – NO ADMITTANCE together with a prohibition symbol showing a raised hand. The combination of text and symbol makes the purpose of the boundary clear: entry to the marked area is not permitted.
