Packing cartons throughout the working day should not mean hearing a sharp tearing sound every time a roll is used. This brown low noise packing tape unwinds quietly, helping to reduce a repetitive source of noise at packing benches, in stockrooms and across shared dispatch areas.
Made with a recyclable polypropylene (PP) backing and an acrylic adhesive, the tape provides reliable adhesion for everyday packaging. This brown packing tape blends neatly with standard cardboard cartons, giving outgoing and stored packages a clean, consistent appearance.

This brown low noise packing tape is made for everyday packaging tasks where a quieter unwind is preferred. It closes cardboard boxes with less of the sharp release noise associated with many conventional PP tapes, making it a sensible choice for shared packing and dispatch areas.
The roll is 38 mm wide and 66 m long. Its polypropylene backing is combined with an acrylic adhesive for reliable everyday adhesion. The brown colour sits discreetly against ordinary cardboard, so the finished seal looks tidy on parcels, stock cartons and outgoing orders. A clear version is also available when the carton surface, label or printed design should remain visible.
This polypropylene packing tape uses PP film as its backing. The material keeps the tape light and flexible enough to follow a normal carton seam. Polypropylene is also an economical material for routine packaging, making it well suited to workplaces that use tape regularly.
The acrylic adhesive provides the bonding layer. It is intended to attach the tape to carton surfaces and keep the flaps closed during normal packing, handling and storage. Firm, even pressure helps the adhesive make full contact with the board. The product is a carton sealing tape, not a substitute for strapping or another load-securing method when the package or handling conditions require one. The backing is made from recyclable PP.
At 38 mm wide, this brown packing tape is narrower than the 48 mm and 50 mm rolls often used for carton sealing. It is a practical option where a wider strip is unnecessary and the carton size and contents are suitable for the narrower format. Each roll contains 66 m of tape. The minimum delivery quantity is 48 rolls, equal to 3,168 linear metres in total. That quantity works well for regular purchasing in a warehouse, packing department or production facility.
Brown packing tape is widely used on natural brown cardboard because the seal remains visually discreet. It is useful when the aim is a straightforward, consistent package rather than a contrasting strip across the carton. This can help outgoing orders and storage cartons look orderly without adding unnecessary colour to the package.
The tape fits routine packaging work in warehouses and dispatch departments. It can be used when preparing e-commerce orders, sealing internal stock cartons or closing boxes that move between work areas. In manufacturing, it can support packing at the end of a production process. In offices and service businesses, it provides a quieter option for mailrooms and shared storage areas.
Its low noise unwind is most relevant wherever several people work close to the packing point. The benefit may also be noticeable in smaller rooms, where the sound from standard packing tape carries easily. On ordinary cardboard, the brown finish remains unobtrusive, while the 38 mm width gives buyers an alternative to wider rolls.
