When a full batch of parcels or components needs to move in one trip, a small trolley soon reaches its limit. The Series 400 parcel trolley gives warehouses, production plants and sorting centres a practical way to move loads of up to 500 kg. A fully welded, galvanised steel frame forms a strong base for daily material handling, while the open-sided structure keeps the load visible. Hinged side gates give direct access to the platform, so loading and unloading do not have to take place only from one end.

Hinged side gates make loading and unloading easier

The side gates are the defining feature of this platform truck with sides. Instead of reaching over a fixed barrier or working around the end frame, the operator can open a gate and approach the load from the side. That is useful when the parcel trolley carries several packages, when the next item is in the middle of the platform or when the truck is parked beside a packing or production area. Once loading is complete, the gates can be closed and secured with their latches. The surrounding frame then helps contain cartons, sacks and other packaged items while the trolley is moving.

Galvanised parcel trolley for indoor and outdoor use

The fully welded steel frame is designed for regular use in busy industrial and logistics environments. Its galvanised finish is practical when the parcel trolley moves between indoor areas and outdoor loading zones. The trolley is also suitable for outdoor use, giving more flexibility where goods travel between buildings or across a yard as part of the normal workflow.

Solid rubber castors for controlled movement

The Series 400 parcel trolley runs on four Ø 200 mm solid rubber castors. Two are fixed and two swivel. This familiar industrial wheel arrangement balances straight tracking with steering control: the fixed castors help the truck hold its line on longer runs, while the swivel castors allow the operator to guide it through work areas, at junctions and into loading positions. Solid rubber castors do not require inflation and are not vulnerable to punctures in the way pneumatic tyres are. Their 200 mm diameter is suited to the heavy-duty design and helps the trolley roll under load.
