This adjustable industrial chair works as a practical workstation chair and upholstered work chair for dry indoor workstations, from production lines and packing benches to assembly areas, control rooms and screen-based tasks. The chair has a black fabric seat and backrest, giving it a neat look that fits both industrial and technical spaces. Fabric upholstery is a comfortable choice in warm interiors because it feels more breathable than imitation leather.

Fabric-upholstered operator chair for focused work

The Aktiv chair is intended for people who sit while handling parts, checking products, entering data, monitoring processes or working at a bench. In this type of work, the chair must allow the user to move close to the task without losing support. A padded seat, a separate backrest and tilt adjustment help the user find a working angle that suits the job.

Euromatic adjustment for changing tasks

The Aktiv fabric work chair is equipped with a Euromatic adjustment mechanism. The working angle can be adjusted 12° forward and 5° backward. The forward tilt helps when the user needs to work close to the table or bench, for example during assembly, inspection or writing. The backward adjustment gives a more relaxed angle when the task allows a short change of posture. Adjustment is made with a single lever, so setting the position is quick. This is useful in workplaces where more than one person uses the same chair, or where one worker moves between different tasks during the day.

Two seat heights: low and high models

The Aktiv work chair is available in two seat height ranges. The low model has a seat height of 470–600 mm. It is the right choice for standard worktops, office-height desks, control room desks and other lower workstations where the user sits in a traditional seated position.

The high model has a seat height of 630–890 mm. It suits raised benches, packing lines, production workstations and adjustable worktables where a normal chair would be too low. The high version is supplied with a Ø 560 mm five-star base, giving the chair a stable support area at the higher sitting position.

Stable base with glide feet

The chair is supplied with glide feet as standard. Glides are a good choice when the chair needs to stay in place as the user sits down, stands up or works close to a bench. They help prevent the chair from rolling away at the wrong moment, which can be especially useful near production equipment, packing tables or workstations where tools and materials are close at hand. For areas where users need to move between nearby points, an optional castor set is available.

Optional armrests and castor set

The Aktiv chair can be equipped with optional armrests. Armrests may be useful for tasks where the user spends more time at a screen or needs extra support while reading, checking data or waiting between process stages. The optional castor set gives another way to adapt the chair to the workstation. A fixed packing station or control desk may work better with glide feet, while a workstation with several nearby surfaces may benefit from castors.
