The design is deliberately simple: a welded aluminium frame, an open centre and four swivel castors. The frame supports the box around its base, while the castors let the dolly turn in any direction.
The dolly is intended for boxes with a 600 × 400 mm footprint, a common modular size in industrial storage and internal logistics. Because the frame matches the box size, the container has a defined position during movement instead of sitting on an oversized general-purpose platform.
The aluminium dolly supports a maximum evenly distributed load of 250 kg. That capacity makes it suitable for more than empty containers or lightweight goods. It can be used when boxes hold components, tools, packaged products or other materials that would be inconvenient to carry by hand.
