Drawer Unit 45/56-3 is a compact workbench drawer unit that gives a bench more usable storage without taking over the floor. It can be mounted under the worktop or selected with castors when the same tools need to move between workstations. The under-workbench option includes a fixing set for TP and TPH workbenches, helping the unit sit securely where tools, spare parts and small components are needed most.
The four-drawer layout is practical for mixed workshop storage: three 100 mm drawers for tools, measuring equipment and smaller parts, plus one 200 mm drawer for bulkier items. Each drawer opens fully, carries up to 60 kg and is secured by central locking with two keys. The powder-coated steel frame, light grey RAL 7035 finish and long anodised aluminium handle give this Finnish-made steel drawer unit a clean, durable look for industrial use.

Tools are easiest to use when they have a fixed place at the workstation. Drawer Unit 45/56-3 turns the free space under a worktop into lockable, organised storage for tools, measuring devices, spare parts and small components. It keeps frequently used items close to hand, reduces time spent searching through loose boxes and helps the workbench stay clear for the actual job. It can be mounted under the worktop, or selected as a castor version when the same tools need to follow the work between benches, assembly cells or service areas. The under-workbench option includes a fixing set for TP and TPH workbenches, which makes installation secure and helps the drawer unit become a natural part of the workstation instead of a separate cabinet standing in the way.
A good workbench is not only a table. It is a working position where tools, parts and documents should be available in the right order. This lockable drawer unit adds storage exactly where it is needed: below the worktop, within easy reach of the user, and away from the walking route around the bench. The standard under-worktop installation is a good choice for permanent workstations, maintenance benches and assembly tables where the tool set stays mainly in one place. When flexibility is more important, the version with castors works as a compact tool trolley. It can be moved to another workstation, pulled out for cleaning or positioned beside a machine during a service task.
The 45/56-3 drawer layout gives practical separation for different types of items. The three 100 mm drawers suit screwdrivers, pliers, gauges, fasteners, labels, small electrical parts and other items that are used often but easily disappear when they are stored in open boxes. The deeper 200 mm drawer gives room for bulkier items, larger spare parts, handheld tools or packaged consumables. Each drawer has an internal width and depth of 380 × 500 mm. The lower internal heights are 90 mm and 190 mm, matching the different drawer sizes and giving a sensible balance between shallow and deeper storage.
Every drawer opens 100%, so the full drawer depth can be used. This matters in daily work. A tool or spare part stored at the back of the drawer is still visible and reachable, and the drawer does not need to be unloaded just to find a small component. The full-extension design also makes it easier to keep the contents organised, especially when dividers, trays or labelled positions are used. The central locking system locks all drawers at the same time, and two keys are included. This is useful in shared workspaces, shift work and service areas where personal tools, test equipment or valuable spare parts need controlled access. The lockable drawer unit does not replace a secure room or safe for high-value items, but it gives everyday tools and components a defined, protected place at the workstation.
The frame is made from powder-coated steel, finished in light grey RAL 7035. The finish is easy to combine with common industrial workbenches, shelves and cabinets, and it keeps the workstation looking clean and uniform. The long handle is made from anodised aluminium, giving a firm grip across the drawer front and a neat appearance even in active workshop use. Each drawer has a maximum load of 60 kg. This capacity is important when the drawer unit is used for metal parts, hand tools and other dense items that quickly become heavy.
Drawer Unit 45/56-3 is ESD protected and suitable for EPA work areas when the workstation and installation are set up according to ESD requirements. This is useful in electronics assembly, testing, repair and other workplaces where electrostatic discharge must be controlled. For an ESD workstation, the drawer unit can be part of a wider setup that includes the correct workbench, matting, grounding and handling routines.
