Galvanised steel 2 drum spill pallet with 225 L sump

A leaking drum can disrupt work, damage the floor and create a clean-up task that should have been contained at the storage point. This 2 drum spill pallet provides a practical secondary containment area for two upright industrial drums. It combines a galvanised steel structure, a grated support deck and an integrated 225 L sump in one assembled unit for warehouses, factories, production areas and maintenance workshops.

A 225 L sump for leaks and everyday drips

The main purpose of a drum spill pallet is to keep escaped liquid away from the surrounding floor. Drums stand on the grated deck while leaks, drips and splashes pass into the sump below. This makes the source of a spill easier to identify and keeps the liquid in a controlled area until it can be handled according to the site’s procedures. The sump capacity is 225 L.

Galvanised steel construction for industrial use

The galvanised steel finish helps the platform resist corrosion and ordinary splashes in demanding work environments. This makes the galvanised steel spill pallet a robust choice where a metal structure is preferred for drum storage. The material also gives the platform the strength needed for a rated load of up to 959 kg.

Material compatibility still matters. Galvanised steel should not automatically be assumed suitable for every chemical, cleaning agent, solvent or process liquid. Before use, check the safety data sheet for the stored substance and confirm that the drum, the galvanised surface and the planned clean-up method are compatible.

Stable storage for two 200–260 L drums

The platform is intended for two drums stored upright on the grated deck. Both steel and plastic drums can be used when their dimensions, condition and combined weight suit the platform. The 959 kg load capacity applies to the total load, not to each drum separately. Loads should be placed evenly so that the platform remains stable.

Two-way fork pockets for practical positioning

Fork pockets are provided on two sides of the platform. This gives a forklift operator two approach directions when the empty unit needs to be positioned or relocated. The feature is useful in storage areas where wall lines, machinery or narrow routes limit access from one direction.
