Steel Euro container dolly with mesh base for flexible load handling

A 600 x 400 mm box does not need a large trolley every time it moves across a warehouse. This steel Euro container dolly gives boxes and containers their own compact mobile base. The central mesh base also gives it an important advantage over a fully open frame: it can support smaller packages and components that might otherwise slip into the open space between the sides.

Four swivel castors make the dolly easy to steer in different directions. The low 145 mm overall height keeps the load close to floor level, while the painted steel frame provides a solid base for repeated handling. Two wheel versions are available, with a different load capacity for each option. This makes it possible to select the model according to the load, floor surface and working environment.

Central mesh base supports smaller items

An open-frame dolly works well when every load covers the full frame, but daily material handling is not always that uniform. Smaller cartons, packages or component bags may need to be moved on the same route. The welded steel mesh base closes much of the central opening and gives these items additional support. This design makes the steel dolly more versatile without replacing its main purpose.

Four swivel castors for tight working areas

All four 100 mm castors swivel through 360 degrees. Because every wheel can change direction, the Euro container dolly can turn in a confined area and approach a storage position from different angles. This is especially useful when there is limited room for a wide turning circle. The swivelling arrangement also helps when a box must be aligned beside a workstation, shelving position or packing area. The dolly can be guided sideways or turned without first lifting one end.

Rubber or nylon castors

The two models use different wheel materials. Both have four swivel castors with a diameter of 100 mm, but their load capacities and handling characteristics are not the same.

• Rubber castors, 250 kg: the rubber-wheel version is the quieter choice and is gentler on floors. It is suitable when noise and floor contact are important considerations and the total load does not exceed 250 kg.
• Nylon castors, 300 kg: the nylon-wheel version rolls easily on smooth concrete floors and raises the maximum load capacity to 300 kg. It is the better choice when the higher capacity is required and the operating surface suits a harder wheel.

Powder-coated steel construction

The frame and central grid are made from steel and finished in blue RAL 5010 powder coating. The coating gives the dolly a clear, even finish and helps protect the steel surface during normal indoor handling. The blue colour also makes the low-profile unit easier to notice in a working area. At 145 mm high, the mesh-base dolly remains close to the floor. Boxes do not need to be placed on a tall platform, and the low format keeps the overall unit compact.
