This food grade plastic pallet is made for clean food storage and food transport where the pallet must be easy to wash, quick to dry and reliable in daily warehouse use. The FIN-size 1000 x 1200 x 160 mm format suits storage and transport systems built around the Finnish FIN pallet size. The pallet is made from HD-PE, and its even surface helps cleaning after handling meat, dairy products, fresh produce or packaged ingredients.
The HDPE plastic pallet can be cleaned with pressure washing, foam washing or a hot-water rinse up to +60 °C. It does not produce wood splinters or rust, which makes it a practical hygienic plastic pallet for demanding food-chain environments. The pallet is available with 9 mm centre and outer retaining lips, or without retaining lips.

A pallet used in food logistics has to do more than carry weight. It must stay clean, handle moisture, move smoothly through daily routines and support a tidy warehouse process. This food grade plastic pallet is designed for the storage and transport of food products where hygiene, easy cleaning and dependable handling matter every day. The FIN 1000 x 1200 x 160 mm size is a familiar format for Finnish storage and transport systems, and the HD-PE material gives the pallet a hard-wearing, washable surface for repeated use.
The pallet size is 1000 x 1200 x 160 mm, which makes it suitable for operations that work with the FIN pallet format. In practice, this helps when goods are moved between production, cold storage, dispatch areas, lorries and warehouse racking designed for FIN-size loads. A consistent pallet size makes stacking, staging and transport planning easier, especially when the same load carrier is used through several steps of the process.
This hygienic plastic pallet is intended for food storage and food transport, including environments where products such as meat, dairy products, fresh produce, packaged ingredients or other food-related goods are handled. The pallet does not replace correct packaging or cleaning routines, but it gives the load a cleanable and durable base. That is important in places where pallets may move between chilled areas, dry storage, loading bays and production-related zones during the same working day.
The pallet is made from HD-PE, often written in English as HDPE. This material is well suited to a hygienic plastic pallet because the surface is non-porous, strong and easy to rinse. The even deck surface helps remove dirt, moisture and residues faster than rougher surfaces. In a busy food warehouse, that can save time during cleaning and reduce the amount of manual scraping or brushing needed between uses.
The plastic pallet can be cleaned with pressure washing, foam washing or a hot-water rinse up to +60 °C. This makes it a practical choice for sites that wash pallets as part of their normal hygiene routine. The pallet also avoids two common problems connected with wooden pallets: splinters and rust from nails or metal parts. For food storage and transport, that simple difference can make daily handling cleaner and more predictable.
Because the pallet is made from plastic, it is also free from the ISPM 15 treatment requirement that applies to many wooden pallets used in export packaging. This can help export-oriented operations avoid the extra certification step connected with wooden load carriers. The exact export process should always be checked according to the destination and the goods being shipped, but a plastic pallet is often a practical choice when wooden pallet treatment rules would otherwise slow the process down.
The dynamic load capacity of this food grade plastic pallet is 1500 kg. Dynamic load means the load the pallet is rated to carry while it is being moved, for example with a forklift or pallet truck. The static load capacity is 3500 kg, which refers to the load when the pallet is standing still on a level floor. In pallet racking, the rated load capacity is 300 kg.
These three figures are important because pallets are used in different ways during the same workflow. A pallet may be loaded on the floor, lifted for transport, placed in a dispatch lane and later stored in a rack. The safe load depends on how the pallet is supported, how evenly the weight is spread and what equipment is used. For racking use, always follow the pallet racking design, beam support and site safety instructions, and do not exceed the stated 300 kg racking capacity.
The pallet is available with 9 mm centre and outer retaining lips, and it is also available without these lips. Retaining lips can help keep boxes, crates or other load units in position when they match the pallet layout. They are useful when the load needs a low edge or locating point during storage and internal movement.
The version without retaining lips is useful when a completely open edge is preferred, for example with load units that must slide on and off the pallet more easily. Choosing between the two versions depends on the goods, packaging, stacking pattern and handling method used at the site. The main advantage is that the same FIN-size plastic pallet can be matched more closely to the way the load is actually handled.
