Heavy-Duty Polyethylene Drum Spill Pallet for 2 or 4 Drums

One leaking drum can turn a tidy storage area into an unexpected clean-up job. This heavy-duty drum spill pallet gives two or four upright 200 litre drums a defined storage point with an integrated sump below the working surface. Leaks, drips and splashes can collect inside the yellow pallet instead of moving directly into the surrounding area. It gives warehouses, production areas and maintenance departments a more controlled way to organise drum storage.

The product is available in two sizes. The compact model holds two drums and has a 230 litre sump capacity. The larger model holds four drums and has a 250 litre sump capacity. Both versions are made from 100% polyethylene, include a removable plastic grate and have forklift pockets on all four sides. Together, these features keep day-to-day positioning, inspection and cleaning straightforward.

Contain leaks at the point of drum storage

The main purpose of a drum spill pallet is to keep leaked liquid in a controlled area beneath the containers. Each 200 litre drum stands on the raised plastic grate, while the sump is located below it. Small drips and accidental splashes therefore remain separated from the base of the drums until the pallet is inspected and cleaned. It also gives the drums a clearly defined containment area instead of leaving them directly on the floor.

100% polyethylene construction

The sump and grate are made from polyethylene. This plastic construction does not rust, which is useful in environments where a steel tray could be exposed to moisture or corrosive substances. The seamless sump also avoids welded joints in the containment body. This supports a durable, easy-to-maintain structure for demanding industrial use.

The polyethylene resists mineral oils, solvents, most acids and UV exposure. Chemical resistance is not identical for every substance or operating condition. Concentration, temperature and contact time can affect compatibility, so the exact liquid should always be checked before it is stored above the pallet. This is especially important when handling strong chemicals or mixtures whose composition may vary.

Removable plastic grate for easier cleaning

The raised plastic grate forms a stable working surface for upright drums and keeps them above liquid collected in the sump. It also spreads the load across the top of the pallet. When inspection or cleaning is required, the grate can be removed to provide access to the area below. This is simpler than trying to clean through a fixed deck.

Four-way forklift access for practical positioning

Forklift pockets are provided on every side of the drum spill pallet. Four-way access gives the operator more choice when approaching the unit and can make positioning easier in tight warehouse or production layouts. It is particularly useful when the pallet is placed near racking, walls, machinery or marked storage zones where access from one direction may be restricted.

A practical polyethylene spill pallet for oils and chemicals

This polyethylene spill pallet is intended for storage points where 200 litre drums may release drips, splashes or leaks. Typical locations include material stores, maintenance areas, production facilities and warehouse sections used for oils, solvents or other compatible liquids. The corrosion-free body, removable grate and integrated sump give staff a clear, straightforward containment setup. When used as an oil drum spill pallet, the unit keeps the containers above collected liquid and helps stop a small leak from spreading across the floor. For compatible chemical drums, the polyethylene body avoids the rust concerns associated with untreated metal.
