CEMO Li-SAFE lithium battery transport boxes give workshops, industrial facilities, construction operations and municipal services a purpose-built way to store and move lithium batteries. The impact-resistant ABS outer case withstands everyday knocks, while the non-flammable inner lining and malleable protective cushions help limit movement and contact damage.
The range includes three sizes. Each lithium battery fire protection box has two carrying handles and a cushioned interior. When a battery is packed correctly, the cushions keep it away from the box walls and other batteries.
The boxes can be used for new, used, prototype, defective and end-of-life batteries when they remain safe to transport.

When a lithium battery must be separated, stored or moved, an ordinary toolbox lacks the purpose-built lining and load control needed for dangerous goods. CEMO Li-SAFE lithium battery transport boxes give the battery a clearly designated place during daily work, temporary storage or road transport.
The Li-SAFE range combines a resilient outer case with a non-flammable inner lining and malleable special cushions. The parts work together: the case takes everyday impacts, the cushions hold the battery in position and the lining adds fire protection around the load.
The outer shell is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic for demanding professional use. Inside, the sides, base and lid are fitted with non-flammable material classified according to DIN EN 13501-1. This inner layer provides fire and impact protection, while the malleable cushions secure the load and keep movement under control.
The cushions are shaped around the battery so that it does not touch the outer walls or an adjacent battery. They also fill empty space and limit movement during lifting, vehicle vibration or sudden braking. That matters because mechanical damage and short circuits can increase the risk of thermal runaway.
Two handles provide practical carrying options. One is positioned on the front for carrying close to the body, and the other is on the lid. The boxes can also be stacked and coupled.
Li-SAFE is an ADR-compliant storage and transport container within the scope of its UN approval. It has a 4H2 plastic-box construction type, UN code Y and approval for Packing Group II. The approved ADR packing instructions are P903, P908, P909 and P910. They cover new, used, prototype, defective and end-of-life lithium batteries that are still safe to transport.
