Move long and heavy materials without trying to balance them on a standard platform trolley. This electro-galvanised long goods trolley is designed for pipes, bars, profiles and other awkward loads weighing up to 800 kg. Its 2800 mm length provides support for long items, while the 608 mm overall width keeps the trolley relatively narrow.
The tubular steel frame has a clear distance of 520 mm between the load carriers. One push handle is included. Six castors support controlled movement: two are fixed and four swivel, helping the trolley track along a route while still allowing it to turn when required.
Choose the standard model for general transport tasks or the braked version when the trolley must be held in place during loading and unloading. The braked model has two braked swivel castors.

Long stock is difficult to move on equipment made for boxes and compact loads. Pipes can roll, profiles may project beyond a short platform, and heavy bars need support over a greater length. This long goods trolley is made for that job. Its 800 kg load capacity, 2800 mm overall length and six-castor running gear make it suitable for demanding internal material handling in warehouses, workshops, production areas and construction environments.
The trolley has an electro-galvanised tubular steel frame and is supplied with one push handle. The open structure keeps the load visible and easy to approach during loading. It also avoids the bulk of a fully enclosed trolley when the task is to move long, rigid items between storage, cutting, assembly or dispatch areas.
A normal platform trolley works well when the load fits inside a compact deck. Long goods create a different handling problem. Their length affects balance, turning space and the route through the workplace. A purpose-built long load trolley supports this type of stock on a frame shaped for the task. The stated maximum load capacity is 800 kg. This makes the trolley suitable for substantial loads of pipe, metal bar, sections and profiles, provided the total weight remains within the rating and the goods are loaded safely.
The tubular frame combines the strength needed for an 800 kg rating with a product weight of 55–56 kg, depending on the selected model. Electro-galvanising gives the steel a protective zinc coating. This is a practical finish for material handling equipment used in busy industrial settings, where exposed steel would otherwise be more vulnerable to corrosion.
The trolley runs on six 200 mm castors. Two fixed castors help it follow a clear direction, while four swivel castors allow the long frame to turn and be positioned. This combination is useful for a heavy-duty trolley because a fully swivel arrangement can be harder to keep on line over a longer travel distance. The castors have solid rubber treads.
Two versions are available. Both use the same 2800 x 608 x 700 mm frame and have two fixed plus four swivel castors.
The standard version is suitable where the trolley is mainly moved between clearly defined points and a brake is not required. Choose the braked long goods trolley when it is useful to hold the trolley stationary during loading, unloading or short pauses.
