Moving files, books and workplace materials is easier when one crate can handle transport, storage and the next move. This 70 L plastic moving crate is a sturdy, reusable choice for office relocations, archive work, internal deliveries and warehouse storage. Its 600 x 400 x 300 mm interior is sized for several lever arch files, giving it more filing capacity than the smaller utility crate.
The bale arm crate design lets loaded crates stack without the upper crate pressing on the contents. Fold the arms outward when empty crates need to nest and take up less room. The plastic storage crate is easy to wash with water and detergent, tolerates damp floors better than cardboard and can also be moved on a sack truck.
This plastic moving crate has large side surfaces that can be hot-foil printed with a company logo at extra cost. The minimum order for printing is 100 crates. Ask our sales team for details.

Office moves and internal relocations run more smoothly when files, books and workplace materials go into crates that hold their shape and store efficiently after use. This 70 L plastic moving crate is built for repeated handling. Its sturdy body provides a practical way to pack, carry, store and move heavy contents without relying on a new cardboard box for every job.
The defining feature is the pair of metal swing handles, also known in industrial packaging as bale arms. Their position changes how the crates fit together.
As a bale arm crate, the product works at both ends of a transport cycle. Loaded crates can be stacked for organised storage and movement. Once they have been unloaded, the empty crates can be nested for the return trip or kept compactly until the next job.
When crates are stacked on the inward-facing arms, the weight of the upper plastic moving crate is carried by the metal supports. This matters when the crate contains lever arch files, books or items that should not have another crate placed directly on top of them. Each filled crate keeps its own usable internal space.
When the crates are empty, space becomes the main issue. A large 70 L moving crate is useful when full, but a row of empty crates can consume valuable room. Nesting allows removal teams, warehouses and offices to store the same number of containers in a smaller footprint. It also makes the plastic stack and nest crate practical on repeated routes where empty containers need to come back.
Plastic and cardboard behave differently when they are used again and again. This plastic moving crate does not need to be assembled, taped or flattened between uses. Its rigid structure is intended to stay firm with demanding loads, including books. It can be cleaned with water and detergent, then put back into circulation.
Moisture is another practical difference. A plastic crate does not soften simply because it has been placed on a damp surface. That can be important during moves, loading work or temporary storage where the floor is not completely dry. The crate itself tolerates moisture, but the open top should be considered when the contents require protection.
Repeated use and a long service life reduce the need to replace a container after a single move. The plastic raw material can also be recycled. For organisations that reuse containers, this makes the reusable plastic crate a durable alternative to disposable packaging.
