Nova S is a single-sided aluminium platform stepladder for professional use in warehouses, workshops, assembly areas and installation locations. It combines 80 mm deep treads, a standing platform, an integrated tool tray and an included stabiliser bar in one practical design. The patented structure uses flanged connections between the treads and stiles, while a Perlon restraint strap links the climbing and support sections. High-friction two-component rubber feet complete the base. Together, these details provide a stable setup, clear access and useful storage close to the working position.

Patented aluminium ladder construction

The Nova S frame is made from aluminium and designed for single-sided access. Its 80 mm treads are attached to the stiles with flanged connections. This patented tread-to-stile design creates a robust ladder structure without adding unnecessary complexity for the user. Open the ladder for work, position it correctly and close it again for transport or storage. The design is intended for repeated professional use and is paired with EN 131 Professional compliance.

80 mm deep treads and a platform for routine tasks

Each tread is 80 mm deep. The extra depth gives the user a broad surface during ascent and descent, which is useful when the ladder is used repeatedly during a shift. At the top of the climbing section, the platform provides the working level stated for each model. The tread count in the size table includes this platform. The available platform heights are 1.05, 1.26, 1.48 and 1.70 m.

Included stabiliser bar for a wider base

The Nova S aluminium stepladder is supplied with a stabiliser bar. The bar increases the width of the base and improves lateral stability when the ladder is correctly positioned. The stabiliser configuration depends on the selected size. The 5- and 6-tread versions have one bar, while the 7- and 8-tread versions have two. Bar lengths range from 1.0 to 1.2 m, as shown in the table below. The bar is part of the supplied configuration, so there is no need to specify it as a separate accessory.

Perlon restraint strap and high-friction feet

A Perlon restraint strap connects the climbing and support sections. Its role is to limit splay and keep the two sides in the intended open position. This works together with the stabiliser bar as part of the ladder’s support arrangement. It is a simple, visible feature that can be included in the normal pre-use check.

The feet are made from a high-friction two-component rubber compound. They are designed to provide firm contact with the floor when the surface is suitable for ladder use. As with any portable ladder, the condition of the floor still matters. Dirt, loose material, moisture or an uneven surface can reduce stability and should be dealt with before the ladder is set up.

Integrated tool tray keeps small items within reach

The Nova S platform stepladder includes a tool tray for tools and small parts. Once the ladder has been positioned, commonly used items can be kept close to the working level instead of being placed on the floor. This is useful for fitting, inspection and maintenance tasks involving items such as hand tools, fasteners or measuring equipment.
