Perforated tool panel for organised tool storage, dividers and workbench back panels
This perforated tool panel gives hand tools, measuring equipment and small accessories a clear place of their own, whether the panel is used in an industrial workstation, service area or garage. Add compatible perforated panel hooks and brackets, choose the holders that suit each tool type and build a tool board where the right item is easy to see and quick to pick up.
The 9 x 9 mm square holes and 38 mm centre-to-centre pitch match common GWS hooks and holders, so fittings sit firmly without unnecessary play. The perforated panel can be used as a wall-mounted tool panel, as a back panel behind a workbench or as part of a workspace divider. It can be fixed to adjustment rails, workstation upright tubes or directly to a wall with screws or mounting lugs.
Standard colours can be chosen to suit the workplace: dark grey, light grey and GWS blue are available directly from stock. The panel is powder-coated and is also available in an ESD-protected version.

A perforated tool panel keeps the tools and accessories you use most often in sight, off the bench and close to the task. Instead of opening drawers or searching through boxes, the user can return every item to a visible position on the panel. This perforated panel is designed for professional tool storage in industrial workstations, workshops, warehouses, service areas and demanding garages.
With the right perforated panel hooks, tool holders and brackets, it becomes a flexible tool board for screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, measuring tools, cutters, tape dispensers, pneumatic tools and many other everyday items. The layout can be changed when the job changes, so the same panel can support one workstation today and a different working method later.
The panel can be used in several ways. It works well as a wall-mounted tool panel where tools need to be stored above a bench or next to a machine. It can also be used as a back panel behind a workbench, giving the workstation a clear storage surface without taking up valuable worktop space. In industrial work areas, the perforated panel can also serve as a practical divider or background between workstations.
Installation is flexible. The perforated panel can be attached to adjustment rails or to workstation upright tubes, depending on the workstation structure. It can also be fixed directly to a wall with screws or mounting lugs. This makes it suitable for both new workstations and upgrades to existing work areas. When wall space, shelf ends or the rear side of a workstation are not being used efficiently, a tool panel can turn that unused surface into practical storage.
The hole pattern is important when choosing a perforated panel. This model has square 9 x 9 mm holes with a 38 mm centre-to-centre pitch. That pitch is the same pattern used with GWS-compatible perforated panel hooks and holders. Because the panel and hooks are designed around the same hole pattern, hooks and fittings sit securely in place without unnecessary looseness.
The 38 mm hole spacing gives enough freedom to position hooks, holders and brackets exactly where they are needed. A screwdriver rack can sit next to plier hooks, a deeper holder can be placed lower down, and frequently used tools can be kept at the most ergonomic height. When a tool set changes, the hooks can be moved to a new position without rebuilding the whole workstation.
The same perforated panel idea can be used in many types of industrial furniture and tool storage solutions. The range around perforated panel storage may include:
The perforated tool panel is available in several colours to match the workstation or the rest of the workshop equipment. Common colour choices include blue, light grey, dark grey and red. Other colours are available on request. Dark grey, light grey and GWS blue are available directly from stock, which makes them practical choices for standard workstation builds and quick improvements to existing work areas.
The panel has a powder-coated finish for a clean, durable surface suitable for industrial environments. Powder coating also gives the tool wall a neat appearance, which matters in visible production areas, maintenance workshops and customer-facing service spaces. An ESD-protected version is also available for work areas where electrostatic discharge control is needed.
