A stable base matters before anyone steps on the first rung. This retrofit ladder stabiliser bar widens the support area at the base of a compatible ladder and helps reduce side-to-side movement. It is a practical ladder safety accessory for existing equipment used in warehouses, workshops, maintenance areas and construction environments.

Side-to-side movement at the base can be noticeable from the first step. A retrofit ladder stabiliser bar creates a wider support area at floor level, helping the ladder resist lateral movement during normal use. For a compatible ladder in a warehouse, workshop, production area, maintenance department or construction environment, it is a straightforward upgrade.
A narrow ladder base provides less lateral support than a widened base. This difference becomes noticeable when a user climbs, changes position or works in an area where small movements can interrupt the task. The horizontal bar extends beyond the ladder stiles on both sides and increases the width of the support area.
The stabiliser bar is fitted with a U-profile mounting arrangement. Before installation, make sure the selected variant matches the ladder and that the mounting area is undamaged. Follow the instructions supplied with the product and use every specified fastening component.
