A leak rarely starts at a convenient time or in a convenient place. Rigid-Lock QuickBerm® Lite gives maintenance teams, warehouses, workshops and field service crews a quick way to create secondary containment around a leaking container, battery, small tank or machine. The lightweight folding design is easy to transport and can be prepared for use in a few minutes without tools.

This portable spill containment berm is intended for smaller containment tasks where speed, simple handling and compact storage matter. It can be kept near a maintenance area, carried in a service vehicle or stored with spill response equipment. When a leak occurs, the berm creates a defined collection area and helps stop liquid spreading across the floor or ground.

Fast, tool-free spill containment

Rigid-Lock QuickBerm® Lite does not need a separate frame or a long assembly process. Unfold the berm, position it where it is needed and lock the integrated wall supports upright. The work takes only a few minutes, which is useful during both emergency spill response and planned maintenance.

The folding construction also works well where permanent containment is impractical. Instead of first moving a leaking item to a fixed sump, the portable berm can be brought to the work area. That flexibility is valuable in workshops, warehouses, loading areas and field service locations, where the source and position of a leak can change from one job to the next.

Rigid-Lock wall supports keep the sides upright

Built-in stainless-steel supports lock the walls in their raised position. The supports are part of the structure, so there are no separate wall sections to assemble. They help keep the sides upright, preserve the usable space inside the berm and leave a clear perimeter around the containment area.

When access is needed, a selected wall folds inward. A vehicle, trolley or item of equipment can then cross the lowered edge without dismantling the complete spill containment berm. After access, the wall support can be returned to its upright position.

Chemical-resistant PVC-coated fabric

The containment area is made from modified PVC-coated fabric. It resists many common industrial liquids, including petrol, oils, greases and most acids. This gives the portable spill bund a broad range of uses in maintenance, storage and emergency work.

The fabric is also designed to withstand prolonged exposure to UV radiation. Rigid-Lock QuickBerm® Lite can therefore be used indoors or outdoors when the surface, location and operating conditions are suitable.
