The construction stays simple for a reason. A strong frame, a solid deck and a reliable wheel layout often matter more in daily work than extra features you never use. With the Series 400 platform truck, the focus stays on load support, manoeuvrability and dependable movement from one point to the next.

A durable platform truck with a galvanised steel deck

The frame is made of steel with a blue powder-coated finish, and the deck uses 2 mm galvanised steel. That combination gives the platform truck a firm working base for demanding transport tasks. Goods can be loaded directly onto the deck, and the flat surface makes it easier to handle cartons, crates, components and other items that need full support underneath.

On the panelled models, the truck is fitted with 400 mm laminate panels. These panels give the load extra support without making access difficult. The structure remains open enough for quick loading and unloading, but the end or side panels help keep goods better positioned during transport.

Three platform truck configurations for different load types

Series 400 is available in three practical versions, so the same product family can be matched to different goods and working methods.

• Single-end platform truck: one end panel leaves the rest of the deck open, which works well when long goods or mixed items need easy access from several sides.
• Double-end platform truck: panels at both short ends provide extra support when goods benefit from end restraint during transport.
• Two-side platform truck: side panels along the long sides help guide the load and are a practical choice for long or awkward items that need support over the full transport route.

Wheel arrangement that stays easy to control

The Series 400 platform truck runs on two fixed and two swivel Ø200 mm castors. This is a familiar and dependable layout in industrial trolleys because it gives a good balance between straight tracking and steering control. The fixed castors help the truck roll steadily on longer runs, while the swivel castors make it easier to turn into aisles, around packing stations or alongside worktables.

Brake option for safer loading and unloading

The Series 400 platform truck is available in both unbraked and braked versions. The brake option is useful when the truck needs to stay in place during loading, unloading or temporary parking. That can be important beside packing benches, assembly points, loading areas and other workstations where a rolling truck would slow the job down.

Low loading height and practical overall dimensions

The platform height is 260 mm, which keeps loading straightforward and helps keep the centre of gravity lower during transport. A lower deck can make a real difference when goods are lifted on and off by hand through the day. It reduces the amount of unnecessary lifting height and helps the platform truck stay stable when carrying heavier items.

All models share the same overall height of 900 mm, which gives a comfortable handle height for pushing in normal warehouse and workshop use. The compact proportions also make this industrial platform truck easier to store when not in use and easier to position in tighter working areas than larger transport equipment.
