Need quick access from either direction without repositioning the platform? The Seventec RC BP double-sided aluminium work platform gives users a practical route up from both sides. Its 600 × 300 mm standing platform provides useful room for maintenance, installation and picking tasks, while the lightweight aluminium frame is easy to position where the work is taking place.
The 85 mm deep perforated steps and standing platform have an open surface. Every other opening is ribbed to give footwear a more secure contact point, while the open design allows water to drain through. This makes the Seventec RC BP a practical outdoor work platform for changing conditions as well as a dependable choice for workshops, warehouses and service areas.
Plastic foot caps are riveted to the frame so they remain firmly attached during normal handling. The double-sided work platform is available in three sizes, all compliant with EN 14183:

When a task can be approached from more than one direction, access equipment should not dictate the workflow. The Seventec RC BP double-sided aluminium work platform has steps on both sides, so users can climb from the side that is already closest to the job. There is no need to turn the platform simply to change the direction of access. That is useful at maintenance and assembly points, in warehouse picking areas and at outdoor work locations where the available space or approach can change from one task to the next.
The design combines a lightweight aluminium frame with a 600 × 300 mm standing platform. Both the steps and the platform are perforated, and every other opening has a ribbed surface for added grip.
A conventional single-access unit must face the direction from which the user climbs. With this double-sided work platform, either side can be used for access. If the work point can be reached from two directions, the platform can stay in a practical position while the user chooses the nearer route up. This can reduce unnecessary repositioning during short, repeated tasks.
The 85 mm deep perforated steps and the standing platform have an open construction. The openings allow water to pass through instead of remaining on a closed surface. Every other hole is ribbed, creating a textured contact point for footwear. These details make the Seventec RC BP suitable as an outdoor work platform where rain or moisture may be present.
The same surface design is useful in indoor work areas where moisture may reach the steps. A perforated platform does not collect liquid in the same way as a solid sheet. The alternating ribbed openings add grip without closing the drainage path. Together, the perforation and ribbing address two practical needs: water can drain through and the user has a textured surface underfoot.
Each side has 85 mm deep steps. The same step depth is used across the range, whether the selected model has 2 × 2, 2 × 3 or 2 × 4 steps. The depth, perforation and ribbing work together to provide a practical stepping surface on the way to and from the platform. Because the double-sided steps are fitted around the central standing platform, there is no designated front access side. This is an important distinction for workplaces where equipment, stored goods or the workpiece itself may make one approach more convenient than the other.
The work platform is made from aluminium, keeping the structure light enough to position for changing tasks. This is valuable when one unit is used at several work points during the day. The material also suits professional environments where access equipment needs to be practical to handle without making the structure unnecessarily bulky. Plastic foot caps are fitted at the base and riveted directly to the frame. The riveted attachment helps the caps remain with the platform during normal handling and repositioning.
