Its combination of a lightweight aluminium frame, deep treads, a full standing platform and a tool tray makes it practical when work moves from one point to the next during the day.

A generous standing platform with an integrated hinge

The 380 x 260 mm safety platform gives both feet a clearly defined standing area. This matters in maintenance, installation and stock-handling tasks where the user may remain at the same height while checking fittings, taking measurements or handling small items. The platform is larger than a standard tread, so it provides more room for a steady working position.

An integrated hinged connection forms part of the platform assembly. Rigid locking bars on both sides support the ladder in its open position. Before climbing, the ladder should be opened fully and the locking connections checked in line with the operating instructions. This simple check is especially important when the same platform stepladder is folded, moved and reopened several times during a shift.

85 mm deep serrated treads for regular climbing

Each tread is 85 mm deep, giving the foot more contact area than a narrow rung. The serrated surface supports a firm foothold during normal use, while the consistent tread layout makes ascent and descent straightforward. The outer faces of the stiles are smooth and comfortable to grip when the ladder is being positioned or carried. The treads and stiles are made from extruded aluminium profiles. Each tread uses a seven-point connection to the stiles and is reinforced at the centre.

The upper tool tray provides a practical place for screwdrivers, measuring tools, fasteners and other small items needed for the job. Keeping these essentials at the working height can reduce avoidable climbs and helps the user keep the task organised. Two integrated bucket hooks provide additional hanging points for suitable items.

Both the treads and the side stiles use extruded aluminium sections. This gives the Seventec S a robust working structure without making it unnecessarily difficult to relocate between shelves, service points or rooms. It is a useful characteristic in warehouses and maintenance areas where one ladder may be needed at several locations during the day. Riveted plastic foot caps protect the lower ends of the frame.
