The 300 Series Shelf Trolley with wooden shelves brings together a tough steel frame and two birch plywood platforms, giving you a workhorse that handles up to 500 kg without complaint. Designed for assembly lines, packing stations, workshops and warehouses, this two-tier trolley moves mixed loads quietly thanks to lacquered wood surfaces that absorb noise and protect sensitive items.
Two fixed wheels and two swivel wheels with brakes keep the trolley steady when parked and easy to steer on the move. The 200 mm wheels roll smoothly across uneven floors, threshold strips and loading ramps, sparing both the load and the operator’s wrists. Overall dimensions of 1200 × 680 × 934 mm and 630 mm of clearance between the shelves leave plenty of room for toolboxes, GN containers, parts bins and instrument cases.

Some days a packing line grinds to a halt because the only trolley around is too small or too wobbly to do the job properly. The 300 Series Shelf Trolley with wooden shelves removes that problem in one go. With a load rating of 500 kg, two solid birch plywood shelves and a steel frame put together to last, this is the kind of shelf trolley you buy once and keep using for years. Whether you are moving spare parts between machines, wheeling assembly kits to a workstation, or shifting tools from the stores to the workshop floor, the trolley does its job without fuss. The wood surfaces stop the constant clatter you get with metal-only platform trolleys, which makes a real difference on a busy shop floor.
Lacquered birch plywood is the right material for a shelf trolley that handles mixed loads. It cushions metal containers, protects painted surfaces and keeps small parts from sliding around. When you are loading toolboxes, GN containers, measuring cases or component trays, the wood gives you a forgiving surface that absorbs minor impacts without denting or chipping like a thin metal sheet would. There is another benefit that often gets overlooked: noise. A trolley loaded with metal bins on a metal shelf is loud, and that noise stacks up over an eight-hour shift. Switch to a wooden shelf and the sound drops noticeably, which is welcome in workshops, assembly halls and packing rooms where staff are working close together for long stretches. The lacquer finish keeps the shelves easy to clean. Oil, grease, coolant or workshop dust comes off with a damp cloth, and the wood underneath stays protected against moisture damage.
The trolley runs on four 200 mm diameter wheels: two fixed at one end for tracking straight, and two swivel wheels with brakes at the other end for steering and parking. This is the standard layout for industrial trolleys for a reason, it gives you good control on long straight runs and easy manoeuvring through racking aisles and around machinery. Two-hundred-millimetre wheels are big enough to roll over expansion joints, gaps between concrete slabs, threshold strips at doorways, and the lips of loading ramps without jolting the load. The non-marking rubber compound stops black streaks on epoxy floors and keeps rolling resistance low, so pushing a fully loaded trolley does not leave you out of breath. The brakes on the swivel wheels lock the trolley in place when you need it stationary, which matters on slight inclines, on lift platforms or when someone is loading at speed. A tap with the foot engages or releases the brake.
The frame is made from powder-coated tubular steel. Powder coating gives a tougher finish than ordinary paint, resisting chips and corrosion in workshop environments where damp, oils and the occasional knock are part of daily life. The tubular sections give the frame torsional rigidity without adding excess weight. The shelves are lacquered birch plywood. Birch plywood is a strong, dense material with a tight grain pattern that holds up well under repeated loading, and the lacquer seals the surface against moisture and grime.
