When work moves from a level floor to a staircase or a higher access point, the Skymaster X keeps the setup flexible. This professional 3-part combination ladder can be used as a freestanding ladder or a leaning extension ladder. Selected variants can also be offset for use on stairs. On order numbers 41536–41540, the upper section can be detached and used separately as a single leaning ladder.
Skymaster X is a practical choice when one ladder must cover several access tasks without taking several separate ladders to the work area.

Access work rarely stays the same throughout the day. One task may require a freestanding ladder on a clear floor, while the next calls for a longer leaning ladder or a setup on a staircase. Skymaster X is a professional 3-part combination ladder designed for this kind of changing work. Its three aluminium sections allow different setups, so the same ladder can meet several access needs.
The ladder can be used in a freestanding A-frame configuration or extended as a leaning ladder. Selected models can also be set up as a stairway ladder. For order numbers 41536–41540, the upper section can be removed and used separately as a single leaning ladder. This flexibility makes the Skymaster X useful for maintenance, installation and inspection work in warehouses, workshops, industrial premises and other professional environments.
The main advantage of a three-section combination ladder is its ability to adapt without changing to completely different access equipment. That is why this type is often described as a multi-purpose ladder. In freestanding use, the ladder provides access where there is no suitable wall or structure for support. When more length is needed, the sections form an extended leaning ladder. On compatible variants, the offset setup allows the two sides to stand at different levels on a staircase.
The Skymaster X can therefore cover tasks that might otherwise require a stepladder, an extension ladder and a separate stair ladder. In practical terms, it is a 3-section aluminium combination ladder that brings these functions into one piece of access equipment. The sliding three-part format works well on sites that include both open floor areas and locations where a longer reach is needed. Stairway use is model-dependent. According to the current product specification, this function applies to order numbers 41536–41540. The detachable upper ladder is also specified for these models.
A wide stabiliser bar is included as standard. It widens the contact area at the base and helps the ladder stand steadily on a suitable supporting surface. The high-strength Perlon strap between the stiles acts as anti-splay protection in the freestanding configuration. It helps stop the ladder sides from opening beyond their intended position. The strap should be correctly positioned and checked before use, together with the other locking and support parts required for the chosen configuration. Two-component end caps create a high-friction contact between the ladder and the floor. The caps are replaceable and can be renewed when worn.
The Skymaster X has 30 mm deep serrated rungs. Their textured surface gives footwear a more secure contact when climbing or descending. The 30 mm measurement refers to rung depth; these are not deep stepladder treads or a standing platform. Rungs and stiles are made from aluminium extrusions, forming a sturdy three-section structure. Before each use, the rungs should be clean and free from damage.
Skymaster X complies with EN 131 Professional. Its maximum load capacity is 150 kg. When planning the task, the total load should include the user and anything carried while climbing, such as tools or materials. The stated capacity must not be exceeded.
