The Treston 0840-3 storage bin cabinet gives each part a visible place, the label is easy to read, and the bin can be pulled out for picking without turning the workstation into a mess. It is a practical small parts storage cabinet for warehouses, repair areas, industrial workstations, stores, service counters and production cells where the same components are used again and again. This model combines a compact steel frame with 8 Treston 4020 shelf bins. The cabinet is deep enough for useful capacity but small enough to place close to the work.

Compact steel frame with flexible placement

The cabinet frame measures 400 mm deep, 400 mm wide and 395 mm high. The grey powder-coated steel frame gives the storage bin cabinet a solid structure for daily industrial use, while the square footprint makes it easy to plan into shelving, service areas and workshop layouts. The frame can be fixed to a wall, stacked on the floor or installed in a compatible stand, depending on how much small parts storage is needed and how the work area is arranged.

8 Treston 4020 shelf bins for clear sorting

The product includes 8 Treston 4020 shelf bins. Each bin measures 400 mm deep, 186 mm wide and 82 mm high. This size is well suited for small and medium-sized parts that are too numerous for a toolbox but too small for bulk containers. The corrugated base is a small detail that makes daily work easier. It helps prevent parts from sliding flat against the bottom and makes picking easier, even when the last screws, clips or washers are left in the bin.

Labels with protective shields are included. A clear label reduces wrong picks, helps replenishment and makes it easier for new workers or temporary staff to find the right part. The protective shield keeps the label tidy in normal use, and the label can be replaced when the contents change.

Durable polypropylene bins in practical colours

The coloured shelf bins are made of polypropylene (PP), a durable plastic material for everyday industrial storage. The material tolerates temperatures from -20°C to +75°C and withstands oils, most acids, alkalis and solvents. The available bin colours are blue, red and grey. Colour can be used in a simple way: one colour for fast-moving items, another for maintenance parts and a third for quality-controlled or reserved stock. Transparent and ESD versions are also available on request when visibility or electrostatic discharge control is required.

D-20 cross dividers for more detailed compartment storage

When one item type does not need the full depth of a 4020 shelf bin, the bin can be divided internally with D-20 cross dividers, ordered separately. A 4020 bin can take up to 6 D-20 dividers, so one shelf bin can be divided into several compartments for related parts. This is useful for screw lengths, washer sizes, terminals, seals, clips and other items that are often needed together but must not be mixed.

Easy to expand with stands and revolving storage

The Treston 0840-3 storage bin cabinet can be used as a single unit, but it also fits into a wider small parts storage system. For high-density storage, cabinets can be placed in a revolving stand. A rotating stand is a strong option when many product lines must be kept within a small floor area and workers need quick access from several sides.

The 16-400 stand is designed for 16 units from the 400 series and measures 800 x 800 x 1680 mm. The 16-300 stand is available for 16 units from the 300 series and measures 700 x 700 x 1680 mm. The stand load capacity is 800 kg. Depending on the cabinet and bin combination, a free-standing revolving stand can create a separate storage location for up to 1792 different products.
