SOFT 1729 is an oil-resistant anti-fatigue mat made for standing work in industrial and logistics areas. Its durable NBR rubber surface resists wear and oil exposure, while the closed-cell EPDM rubber backing adds cushioning and helps the mat remain stable on the floor. This two-layer construction combines a hard-wearing top surface with support underfoot.
The raised checker-plate pattern adds texture under work footwear and suits dry areas as well as workplaces with occasional moisture. Bevelled edges reduce the risk of catching a foot on the mat and make movement across the edge easier.
This black industrial anti-fatigue mat is 11 mm thick and 1,000 mm wide. It is supplied in one-metre increments, allowing the length to suit a workstation, packing line or service counter. For longer runs, the anti-fatigue mat roll is available as a full 10-metre length. The weight is 2 kg/m², and the price is stated per metre.

Standing for a full shift on a hard floor is demanding. SOFT 1729 adds a cushioned working surface to industrial and logistics workstations. Its durable top surface, resilient backing and practical roll format make it a straightforward choice for long, clearly defined work areas. This black industrial anti-fatigue mat is intended for dry environments and areas where occasional moisture or oil splashes may occur. The fixed 1,000 mm width gives the user a generous standing area, while the required length can be selected in whole-metre increments.
The upper layer is made from NBR rubber, also known as nitrile rubber. This material gives the workplace mat a hard-wearing surface and resistance to oil. It is therefore a useful option around machinery and work processes where small amounts of hydraulic oil, cutting oil or coolant may reach the floor.
Beneath the NBR rubber surface is a closed-cell EPDM rubber backing. The backing compresses underfoot and provides cushioning for standing work. Because the cells are closed, the structure does not readily take in surface moisture. The backing also helps the mat sit securely against the floor. Together, the two layers balance wear resistance at the top with a softer feel beneath the user’s feet.
The raised checker-plate pattern gives work footwear multiple contact points on the surface. This supports secure footing in dry conditions and in work areas with occasional moisture. The solid surface has no drainage holes, so the SOFT 1729 oil-resistant anti-fatigue mat is better suited to intermittent splashes than to locations with continuous liquid flow or standing water.
The edges are bevelled to create a smoother transition from the surrounding floor onto the 11 mm mat. This reduces the chance of footwear catching on a square edge and makes it easier to step on and off the mat during routine work. The sloped edge can also make light wheeled crossing easier, but suitability for trolleys or pallet trucks must be assessed according to the load, wheel type and installation. No certified slip-resistance class has been provided for this model. The surface pattern, rubber backing and bevelled edges are practical safety features, but normal housekeeping is still important.
