Stainless Steel Shelf Trolley – Built for Heavy, Hygienic Work

In wet rooms, food production lines and damp warehouse corners, painted steel trolleys give up fast. Rust spots show at the welds. Paint flakes off after a few rounds with chlorine cleaner. Wheels start to drag. The stainless steel shelf trolley solves the problem: the whole frame is AISI 304, fully welded, and finished to handle wash-downs every shift. You can choose the trolley with two shelves or three, in three different footprints. Both versions carry up to 200 kg, which covers most parts boxes, archive folders, maintenance kits and food trays you would want to move between stations.

Why a Stainless Steel Trolley Lasts Longer

The body is made from AISI 304 stainless steel, the standard grade in food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing and cleanrooms. It handles moisture, mild acids and most disinfectants without pitting or staining. There is no paint to chip, no plating to wear through, and no surface coating that needs touch-up over the years. Every joint is TIG welded, which gives smooth seams without gaps where dirt, bacteria or product residue could collect. The brushed surface hides minor scratches and wipes clean in seconds, so the trolley still looks tidy after years of daily use. Stainless steel also copes well with temperature changes. The trolley can roll from a chilled storage room into a warm production area and back again without the issues you would see with painted carbon steel.

Two Tiers or Three – Match the Trolley to Your Work

The choice between two and three tiers comes down to what you carry and how you load it.

• Two tiers leave more vertical space between shelves, which suits taller containers, mixing bowls, larger tools or items you need to grab without lifting them up high. It is the cleaner option when an operator works at the trolley like a mobile bench.
• Three tiers split the same height into thinner zones. That setup works better for small bin picking, document folders, parts kitting and any job where you sort items by category or station. You get more surfaces in the same floor footprint, which helps in narrow aisles.

Both configurations take the full 200 kg load, spread across the shelves. The fully welded frame does not flex under the weight, so the trolley keeps rolling true even close to capacity.

Four Swivel Castors and a Pair of Brakes

All four wheels swivel, which means the trolley turns in place. You do not need a wide aisle to pivot it, and you can line it up next to a workstation from any angle. The castors are 125 mm in diameter, large enough to roll smoothly across concrete expansion joints, drainage channels, threshold strips and PVC flooring without jarring the load. Two of the four castors come with brakes. Step the levers down and the trolley locks in place. That matters when the trolley doubles as a temporary work surface, a packing bench beside a production line or a sorting station during a stock count.

Three Sizes for Different Jobs

The trolley is offered in three external sizes, all at a 900 mm working height:

• 650 × 440 × 900 mm, shelf 625 × 415 mm
• 825 × 575 × 900 mm, shelf 800 × 550 mm
• 1075 × 575 × 900 mm, shelf 1050 × 550 mm

The 900 mm working height places the top shelf at a natural standing-work level, so loading and unloading does not mean bending or reaching above the shoulders.
