When the stool is not loaded, its spring-loaded castors let it roll smoothly across the floor. Step onto it and the castors retract automatically. The soft rubber base ring then makes contact with the floor and keeps the stool firmly in place. This simple weight-activated action makes it easy to move the stool to the next shelf and prepare it for use.
The compact two-step design is available from stock in light grey and dark grey. Other colours are also available.

Its compact two-step shape suits work areas where a full-size set of steps would be unnecessary or inconvenient. This mobile kick step is designed for repeated use in warehouses, shops, service points, archives and offices. It can be moved along an aisle or between workstations without being carried every time. Once someone steps onto it, the support changes automatically from castors to the wide rubber base ring.
The spring-loaded castors on this steel kick step stool keep the unit mobile whenever it is not carrying a load. The user can roll it across the floor and position it where extra height is required. The castors support movement in different directions. No separate action is needed to make them retract before stepping up. They respond to the user’s weight, so the same mechanism that makes the stool mobile also prepares it for a stable working position.
When weight is placed on the Wedo steel kick step stool, the retractable castors rise into the frame. At the same time, the soft rubber base ring comes into contact with the floor. The stool no longer rests on its wheels and stays firmly positioned while it is loaded.
When the user steps down, the spring-loaded castors return to their mobile position. The stool can then be rolled to the next location. This weight-activated sequence is especially useful in work areas where people need to reach several nearby shelving bays, cabinets or storage points during the day. The rubber base ring provides a broad contact surface around the lower edge of the stool. Together with the wide lower section of the frame, it creates the stable base expected from a professional mobile kick step.
The body of the mobile kick step is made from powder-coated steel. This gives the stool a solid structure for regular use and repeated movement in professional environments. It is a suitable choice for locations where a step may be used by several people over the course of a working day. A plastic version is also available for workplaces that prefer a non-metal model.
Both step surfaces have non-slip rubber mats. This anti-slip tread design adds grip where it matters during ascent, use and descent. The upper platform also has a rubber-covered surface, so the user does not stand directly on painted steel. The two-step layout divides the ascent into manageable levels while keeping the overall height low.
