Large Storage Bin Cabinet 3640 for small parts storage

Loose screws, fittings, electrical components and spare parts quickly slow down everyday work when they do not have a clear place. The Large Storage Bin Cabinet 3640 is designed for organised small parts storage in workshops, warehouses, production areas, maintenance stores and industrial workstations. It combines a strong steel frame with Treston shelf bins, so items can be sorted by size, type, project or work phase and kept visible for fast picking.

Strong frame and clear capacity

The frame dimensions are 410 mm deep, 605 mm wide and 870 mm high. This makes the Large Storage Bin Cabinet 3640 compact enough to place close to a workstation, packing bench, maintenance point or production line, while still offering a large number of separate storage positions. The total load capacity of the storage bin cabinet is 240 kg, and each shelf is rated for 30 kg. Loads should always be distributed sensibly and kept within the stated limits.

Adjustable feet help the cabinet stand firmly in place, even when the floor is not perfectly even. The backstops are an important detail in busy environments: they help keep the shelf bins in the cabinet and reduce the chance of a bin being pulled too far. This is useful when the same small parts are picked repeatedly during a shift.

Labels, colour options and tidy stock control

Each bin position can be marked with a label protected by a shield. The protective shield helps keep the label clean and readable, and the label can be changed when the contents change. The standard colours of the Treston shelf bins are blue and red, and grey is also available. Colour options can support practical sorting, for example by product group, work area, urgency or stock type.

The cabinet can also be supplied with transparent bins or as an ESD version by order. The transparent version is useful when visibility of the contents is important, while the ESD version is intended for environments where electrostatic discharge protection is required.

Polypropylene bins for industrial use

The coloured bins are made of polypropylene, PP. Their temperature resistance is -20 to +75 °C. The material withstands oils, most acids, alkalis and solvents, which makes the shelf bins suitable for many normal industrial, workshop and maintenance environments.

Accessories for dividing and moving the cabinet

Cross dividers are available as separate accessories for the 4010 and 4020 bins. The D-10 divider fits the 4010 shelf bin, and the D-20 divider fits the 4020 shelf bin. They are ordered separately in packs of 10 or 100 pcs. Dividers are helpful when several very small items need to be stored in one bin without mixing them together.

The PS-LH castor set is also available separately. It includes four Ø100 mm wheels, two of which have brakes. With the castor set, the Large Storage Bin Cabinet 3640 can be used as a mobile storage solution inside a workshop or production area. The retaining bars are another accessory option. They help keep the bins in place in mobile use, for example when the cabinet is used in a maintenance vehicle or moved between work areas.

What is included in the 3640 storage bin cabinet?

The 3640 storage bin cabinet is supplied as a complete unit for practical small parts storage. The product includes a steel frame, shelf bins, labels with protective shields, adjustable feet and backstops. The steel frame is powder-coated grey, RAL 7045, which gives the cabinet a clean industrial appearance and a durable surface for daily use.
