Cold conditions can disrupt the electrical controls of a pallet dispenser and increase the risk of condensation inside its control cabinet. This thermostatic electrical enclosure heater is an optional frost protection accessory for LP-series pallet magazines and compatible industrial electrical equipment used where the ambient temperature may fall below 0 °C.
The enclosure heater starts automatically as the temperature drops below 0 °C. It keeps the control cabinet and sensor equipment warm in cold stores, loading bays and covered outdoor areas. Retrofit installation is also possible in compatible Finnish and European pallet magazines when the cabinet has a free DIN-rail position and the required supply voltage.

Electrical controls need stable conditions even when the surrounding workspace is cold. This thermostatic electrical enclosure heater provides frost and condensation protection for pallet magazines and other compatible industrial electrical equipment used in areas where the temperature may fall below 0 °C. It is a Finnish-made accessory designed to keep the control cabinet and sensor equipment warm when freezing conditions would otherwise interfere with electrical components or measurement accuracy.
The enclosure heater is especially useful in cold stores, loading bays and covered outdoor areas. In these locations, low temperatures and changing conditions can affect relays, contactors and sensors. The heater switches on automatically when required, supports reliable operation and helps reduce avoidable interruptions caused by frost or moisture inside the cabinet.
A control cabinet may be exposed to more than low air temperature. Temperature changes can also bring the internal surfaces of the cabinet close to the dew point. If moisture then condenses on electrical components, it can contribute to corrosion and unreliable operation. This risk is relevant in cold industrial spaces and in areas where the equipment is exposed to changing temperatures during the working day.
The anti-condensation heater maintains warmth inside the control cabinet. Keeping the cabinet above the dew point helps prevent condensation from forming on sensitive parts. At the same time, the added warmth protects relays and contactors against freezing. This gives the electrical controls a more stable operating environment in cold conditions.
The enclosure heater uses thermostat control. When the temperature drops below 0 °C, the heating element starts automatically and warms the cabinet and its sensor equipment. When heating is not needed, the thermostat prevents unnecessary operation. This enclosure heater with thermostat control limits energy use while keeping frost protection available when the surrounding temperature falls.
In an automatic pallet magazine, sensors are used to recognise the pallet stack and its height. Freezing conditions can cause temperature-related variation in sensor readings. The enclosure heater minimises this variation by keeping the sensor equipment warm, supporting correct recognition of the stack height.
The frost protection kit is compatible with all LP-series pallet magazines and other electrically powered accessories from the same equipment range. It can also be retrofitted to most Finnish and European pallet magazine models when the control cabinet has a free DIN-rail position and the required supply voltage is available.
