This tilting steel shelf is a practical accessory for Treston TED and Concept workbenches when tools, small parts, documents or storage boxes need to stay close to the operator without filling the main bench surface. The shelf is mounted to the adjustment tubes of the bench, so it adds useful upper storage in a controlled position and keeps frequently used items within easy reach.

Horizontal shelf or 20° tilted shelf

The same steel shelf can be used in two different positions. In the horizontal position, it works like a standard upper shelf for boxes, tools, cartons, binders and other materials that need stable support. This is the right choice when the items are placed flat, when the shelf is used for temporary storage, or when the load should remain level during normal work.

When faster picking or better visibility is needed, the shelf can be set to a 20° tilted position. A tilted shelf presents the contents toward the user, which can make small parts boxes, labels and manuals easier to see and reach. The angled position is useful in repetitive assembly, packing benches and service workstations where the same items are picked many times during a shift. The position is changed with screw adjustment, so the shelf can be set according to the task rather than fixed to one way of working.

Edge strip for the front or rear of the shelf

The shelf includes an edge strip that can be used either at the front or at the rear, depending on how the shelf is installed. With the edge strip at the rear, boxes and other stored items are less likely to be pushed backwards off the shelf. With the edge strip at the front, it helps hold materials in place when the shelf is tilted and items are being pulled forward.

Powder-coated steel for industrial workstations

The shelf is made from powder-coated steel in light grey RAL 7035. The neutral colour matches many Treston workstation frames and keeps the overall bench appearance clean. Steel is a practical material for workshop and production accessories because it provides a rigid storage surface and is easy to keep in order during normal use. The specified maximum load of 50 kg is suitable for everyday workstation materials when the load is placed sensibly and evenly on the shelf.
