For electronics production and other electrostatic discharge sensitive work, the ESD upholstery option is intended for use in an ESD protected area, also called an EPA. An antibacterial surface treatment is available for hospital and healthcare environments. PU and PU-ESD castors with unloaded braking

The chair is supplied with five PU-ESD or PU castors depending on the selected version. The castors brake when the chair is unloaded. This means the chair is less likely to roll away when nobody is sitting on it, which is useful on smooth industrial floors and in busy work areas. When the user sits down, the chair can be moved as needed around the workstation.
