Repeated tool use should not make the workstation harder to control. This Treston tool balancer keeps a screwdriver, riveting tool, grinder or other hand-held power tool suspended at the right working height, so the operator does not need to carry the full weight during every movement. The tool stays close to the hand, the bench surface stays clearer, and the work rhythm remains steadier through long assembly or maintenance tasks.
The balancer is attached to a Treston light/balancer rail and adjusted with the load adjustment wheel on the side. Set the spring tension to match the tool weight, connect the tool securely and let the cable support the load. The retaining chain helps keep the equipment safely connected above the workstation.
A practical ergonomic accessory for production, assembly, repair and packing workstations where the same tool is used repeatedly.

When the same hand tool is used hour after hour, even a small weight starts to matter. A screwdriver, riveting tool or grinder may feel light at the start of the shift, but repeated lifting soon affects the wrist, forearm and shoulder. The Treston tool balancer is made for this kind of workstation use. It carries part of the tool weight from above the bench, keeps the tool in a controlled working position and makes repetitive movements easier to repeat with the same accuracy. The tool balancer is attached to a Treston light/balancer rail above the workstation. Once the tool is connected, the spring-supported cable keeps it suspended and ready for use. The operator can pull the tool down to the working area, guide it into position and release it when the operation is finished.
The main purpose of a tool balancer is simple: it reduces the effort needed to handle a tool that is used repeatedly. Supporting the tool from a balancer helps keep the working posture more relaxed, especially when the tool is held in front of the body or above the workpiece for long periods. The tool balancer does not change the tool itself, but it changes how the tool feels in the hand. Less weight is carried by the operator, and the movement becomes more controlled. That can make a clear difference when working with electric screwdrivers, riveters, light grinding tools or other hand-held tools within the correct weight range.
The load adjustment wheel on the side of the balancer lets the spring tension be set according to the tool being used. A lighter tool needs less support, while a heavier tool needs more counterbalance. The adjustment is quick, so the balancer can be matched to the tool and the working height without complicated changes at the workstation.
The Treston tool balancer is available in two versions for different tool weights.
