Treston WB height-adjustable workbench for adaptable industrial workstations

The Treston WB height-adjustable workbench is built for work that changes during the day. One operator may need a seated position for detailed assembly, while another needs more height for inspection, testing or packing. A worktop that adjusts from 700 to 1100 mm makes it easier to set a practical working height for both the user and the task. The same workstation can therefore serve different people, products and stages of a process without replacing the table between jobs.

Choose the right height-adjustment method

Every Treston WB workbench has stepless height adjustment across the same 700–1100 mm range. The difference is how the worktop is moved and how often the setting is likely to change.

The electric height-adjustable workbench is the practical choice when operators change regularly or when a person switches between seated and standing work during a shift. Current electric WB models have an up-and-down control panel with a display and memory positions. The adjustment speed is 20 mm per second, and the maximum load capacity is 300 kg.

The hand-crank version provides mechanical adjustment without a motor. It suits a workstation where the height still needs to change but electrical adjustment is not required. Its maximum load capacity is 200 kg.

The Allen-key model is the most straightforward manual height-adjustable workbench in the range. It suits a height that is set for a task or operator and changed less often, and it supports a maximum load of 300 kg.

Three worktop sizes for different layouts

The Treston WB height-adjustable workbench is available with an 800 mm-deep worktop in three widths:

• 1073 x 800 mm for compact work areas
• 1500 x 800 mm for a general-purpose industrial workstation
• 1800 x 800 mm when a wider working surface is needed

The worktop is made from 25 mm low-pressure laminated chipboard. Its light grey surface gives the workstation a neutral, clear appearance suited to technical and industrial interiors. The frame combines aluminium with epoxy powder-coated steel in light grey RAL 7035. Pre-drilled fixing points in the worktop allow compatible upright profiles to be added when the workstation needs further equipment.

Build a straight, back-to-back or corner workstation

WB benches can be positioned side by side, back to back or against a wall. This makes the same product family useful for a single technical workstation, a row of assembly benches or a paired layout shared by two operators.

For an Allen-key-adjustable installation, the WB1212CT corner worktop is available in standard and ESD versions. It connects two benches into an L-shaped arrangement and creates an additional surface between them. This can keep successive tasks close together without adding another separate table. Side extension worktops are also available for compatible WB layouts.

ESD workbench options for electronics

An ESD workbench is available for processes involving components that can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. These variants use a semi-conductive laminated worktop and are intended for integration into an ESD-protected working area. Select compatible ESD accessories where the workstation design requires them.

For controlled areas, the Treston WB range is also suitable for ISO Class 7 cleanrooms. It can therefore be considered for cleanroom use as well as standard electronics assembly and inspection areas.

Cable management and accessories

Electric and hand-crank models include a cable tidy as standard. It keeps wiring routed beneath the worktop and also acts as a stabilising support. A clear cable route is particularly useful at an adjustable industrial workbench because sufficient cable length must remain available throughout the full height range.

The WB series can be fitted with compatible upright profiles and separately ordered accessories to support the work being carried out. This makes it possible to develop the basic bench as requirements change. Start with the work surface, adjustment method and load capacity, then select only the equipment needed for the process.
