Create a clearly screened welding area while keeping the workspace visible. This translucent PVC welding curtain material blocks up to 99.8% of the UV radiation generated during welding. Used as part of a suitable screening arrangement, it helps shield people and adjacent work areas from the welding arc.
At 0.35 mm thick, the material is a practical choice for making or replacing curtains in welding screens and divided work areas. Choose yellow, red or blue to suit the layout and make separate work zones easier to identify. The material is made in Finland and priced per square metre.

When welding takes place close to other work, a clear boundary around the welding area is essential. This translucent PVC welding curtain material provides a practical way to screen the welding station while retaining visibility through the barrier. The material blocks up to 99.8% of the UV radiation generated during welding, helping to reduce exposure for people working or moving nearby.
The 0.35 mm material is available in yellow, red and blue. Use it to create a new welding curtain or replace worn material in an existing welding screen, provided the frame and fixing method are compatible. Pricing is based on the required number of square metres rather than a standard ready-made curtain size.
A solid partition can block the view between work areas. A translucent curtain still creates a visible division around the welding station, but shapes, movement and general activity remain visible through the material. This makes it easier to supervise the area and stay aware of activity on the other side of the screen.
The main purpose is welding UV protection. Arc welding produces intense optical radiation, and people nearby may be exposed even when they are not carrying out the welding themselves. Used in a correctly planned screening arrangement, the PVC welding curtain helps separate the process from surrounding work areas. It is intended for use as an additional workplace control and does not replace the welder’s personal protective equipment.
The three colour options make it easier to match the welding curtain to the workplace layout. One colour can be used consistently for all welding stations, or different colours can help distinguish separate areas or processes. This can be useful in a large workshop where work zones need to be recognised quickly.
Select yellow, red or blue and calculate the required area before ordering. The square-metre pricing makes the product suitable for planned screen areas and replacement projects where a ready-made standard size is not the right option.
