A pallet is easier to organise when the load has a clear boundary and the contents remain visible. These wire mesh pallet cages for Euro pallets add four steel mesh sides to a standard 1,200 x 800 mm EUR pallet. They are suitable for storing and handling cartons, packaged components, spare parts and other goods that benefit from an open but contained pallet format.

Electrogalvanised steel tubing and visible mesh sides

The pallet frame is manufactured from electrogalvanised steel tubing. The zinc-coated surface helps protect the steel in normal industrial use and gives the cage a clean metal finish. For wet, corrosive or continuously outdoor conditions, confirm environmental suitability before use. The mesh size is 65 x 120 mm. It provides an open view of the load and forms a physical boundary around packaged goods.

Half-drop gate for easier access to palletised goods

Reaching over a full-height mesh wall can slow down picking, especially as the pallet empties. On the gated models, one side includes a half-drop gate that opens part of the wall. Staff can reach the goods through this opening without removing the entire side panel or unloading the pallet from the top.

Choose a short-side or long-side gate to match the layout

Gate position matters because pallets are not approached from the same direction in every facility. A short-side gate can suit a pallet stored end-on, where the 800 mm side faces the operator. A long-side gate provides a wider access face when the 1,200 mm side is presented to a workstation or aisle.

Four pallet cage heights and the available gate positions

• 420 mm: the lowest model and the only version without a gate. It is a straightforward choice when the top remains easy to reach and the pallet is loaded or emptied directly at a production line or work area.
• 640 mm: available with a half-drop gate on either the short side or the long side. This height suits picking and packing areas where regular access to the pallet contents is needed.
• 870 mm: available with a half-drop gate on either the short side or the long side. The higher mesh walls provide more usable height for packaged spare parts, maintenance items and similar stock.
• 1,020 mm: the highest model, supplied with a half-drop gate on the long side. It is intended for loads that need the tallest wall option while retaining side access to the goods.
