XLstep B double-sided aluminium step ladder for professional use

When a job moves from one side of a machine, storage area or installation point to another, repeatedly turning a ladder takes time and needs extra room. The XLstep B double-sided step ladder can be climbed from either side, allowing the user to approach the task from the most practical direction. Its freestanding A-frame form works well in warehouses, workshops, maintenance areas and construction environments where a wall or another supporting surface may not be available.

The lightweight aluminium frame is designed for regular professional use. Deep, serrated treads give the foot more support than a narrow rung. Anodised stiles are clean to handle, while the high-grip feet and polyester anti-splay straps support a stable position when the ladder is opened and placed correctly. Multiple height options make it possible to match the ladder to the task instead of working from an unsuitable height.

Double-sided step ladder access reduces unnecessary repositioning

Both sections of this double-sided step ladder have treads. The user can therefore choose the better access side without turning the entire ladder around. This is useful beside shelving, machinery, service points and fixed equipment, especially where the available floor space is narrow or the direction of work changes during the day. The two-sided arrangement also makes placement more flexible.

80 mm serrated treads provide a firm foothold

The aluminium step ladder has 80 mm deep treads on both sides. Their depth provides a broader contact area for the foot than a conventional narrow rung, making ascent and descent more controlled. It also gives the user a more comfortable standing position during short inspection, installation and maintenance tasks.

Anodised aluminium stiles stay cleaner in daily handling

The side stiles have a wear-resistant anodised finish. Untreated aluminium can leave dark oxide marks during handling, but the anodised surface helps keep hands and work clothing cleaner when the ladder is carried and set up repeatedly. Anodising also gives the stiles a durable surface for normal professional use. Routine cleaning is still important.

High-grip feet and anti-splay straps support correct setup

The ladder feet are made from a high-friction, two-component rubber compound. They provide firm contact with a clean, load-bearing floor and help the ladder remain in position during normal use. The floor must still be level and free from loose material.

High-strength polyester straps connect the two ladder sections and act as anti-splay restraints. When the ladder is opened correctly, the straps limit how far the sections can move apart and help maintain the intended opening angle.

Professional construction for frequent access work

XLstep B is built from extruded aluminium profiles. The tread-to-stile connections are triple-riveted, creating a firm joint between the parts that carry the climbing load. This construction combines low handling weight with the rigidity needed for repeated use. It is well suited to workplaces where access equipment is moved between tasks rather than left in one fixed position. The ladder folds for carrying and storage.
