When stock, tools or service points are above normal reach, a small top step can feel restrictive. The ZAP Safemaster Plus S mobile platform ladder provides a 600 × 630 mm aluminium work platform for tasks that require more standing room. The unit combines a large platform, three-sided guardrails and 80 mm deep Safer Step treads in one folding aluminium structure. A stabiliser bar supports the access section, while the chassis beam and Ø160 mm wheels allow the ladder to be rolled to the next work point. Once it is positioned, the wheel locking mechanism secures the mobile platform ladder for use.

Work platform with three-sided guardrails

The standing platform measures 600 × 630 mm. Its ribbed aluminium plate provides a firm working surface and leaves space for the user to adopt a practical position for the task. This is useful during order picking, stock replenishment, inspection and maintenance, where the work may take longer than a quick reach from a conventional stepladder.

Guardrails surround three sides of the work platform and rise 1,000 mm above it. They create a clear boundary around the standing area while leaving the access side available for entry. The maximum load is 150 kg, this limit covers the user and everything carried onto the ladder.

A large storage and retrieval tray is positioned within easy reach. Small tools, components or picked items can be placed there instead of being held throughout the task. The tray is particularly useful when the job involves repeated handling of compact items at shelving or equipment.

Safer Step treads for secure access

Each step has a depth of 80 mm, giving the foot a substantial contact area during ascent and descent. ZARGES Safer Step Technology combines a ribbed tread profile with integrated anti-slip inserts. The two surface features work together to support grip under normal working conditions.

A folding platform ladder that is easy to relocate

The ZAP Safemaster Plus S is intended for work points that change. Its Ø160 mm wheels make it possible to roll the unit between shelving bays, machines or installation locations rather than carrying the full structure. The access section is fitted with a horizontal stabiliser bar, and the support section uses a chassis beam with a wheel locking mechanism.

Compact storage between jobs

Hinges in both diagonal braces allow the mobile platform ladder to fold for storage. The safety guardrails also fold, reducing the stored profile when the unit is not required. This is practical in warehouses and production facilities where access equipment must share space with material flow, trolleys and other daily operations.
