A fixed-height ladder can slow work down when the next task is at a different level. The ZAP Telemaster height-adjustable work platform solves that problem with a simple telescopic adjustment system and a guarded standing area. One unit can be set to several platform heights, so it can follow maintenance, installation and access work around a site without the need to change equipment for every task.

The design brings together the flexible reach of a telescopic platform ladder and the more comfortable standing position of a mobile work platform. The user stands on a 665 x 440 mm platform surrounded by a guardrail and knee bar. That space makes it easier to stand securely than on an ordinary ladder rung, especially during tasks that require both hands.

Set the platform height for the task

The height adjustment works on the same principle as a push-up extension ladder. The sliding sections move to the required position and lock at the selected level. This gives the operator several usable heights from one platform ladder and makes the equipment practical in work areas where access requirements change during the day.

A guarded platform for longer tasks

The 665 x 440 mm standing surface gives the user space to place both feet properly and change position without balancing on a narrow rung. A 1,000 mm guardrail and knee bar surround the working position. Together, they provide support around the platform and help create a more controlled place for inspection, adjustment and installation work.

The handrails and guardrails unfold automatically as the ZAP Telemaster is set up. This keeps preparation simple and reduces the number of separate parts that need to be fitted before work begins. Once the unit is open, the operator should confirm that the platform, rails and height locks are fully engaged before climbing.

This mobile work platform complies with EN 131-7, the part of the EN 131 standard that applies to mobile ladders with platforms. The maximum load capacity is 150 kg. The total load must include the user together with tools and materials carried onto the platform.

Height-adjustable work platform for stairs

Some access jobs cannot be reached from a single level floor. The ZAP Telemaster can also be configured for use on steps and stairs. Its adjustable structure allows the platform to remain level on a suitable stepped surface. This makes it useful for work in stairwells where a conventional platform ladder cannot be positioned correctly.

Easy to move between work areas

A work platform often needs to move several times during a shift. The two rear wheels make the ZAP Telemaster easier to reposition without carrying the complete unit. Its folding structure also reduces the space needed for transport and storage. This is useful when equipment is moved between departments, stored in a shared equipment area or carried to another job site.

High-grip feet and a rigid aluminium structure

Replaceable two-component end caps help the feet maintain secure contact with the supporting surface. The aluminium frame keeps the structure practical to handle, while high-strength rung-to-stile connections resist twisting during normal use. The standing surface is made from seven-layer laminated plywood.
