High-Lid Self-Tipping Skip – More Volume with Automatic Tipping

This high-lid tipping skip is made for daily material handling with a forklift. Automatic tipping is standard, as in the other tipping skip models in the range. The driver can take the filled container to the disposal point, drive the front edge against the receiving container and empty the load in a controlled way. When the skip is lowered again, the locking function returns to its normal position. This keeps the work flow simple and helps reduce unnecessary climbing in and out of the forklift.

High lid for larger, cleaner waste collection

The main benefit of the high lid is simple: it adds capacity. The raised lid increases the height of the container edge by about 150 mm. This helps when the material is bulky, light or uneven, because the skip can hold more before it needs to be emptied. The hinged high lid also helps control the contents. It reduces the spread of dust and splashes and helps prevent light waste from blowing out, especially in draughty warehouse doorways or outdoor collection areas.

Automatic tipping from the forklift

Automatic tipping saves time during repeated emptying cycles. The forklift driver does not need to leave the cab to pull a separate handle at the disposal point. The tipping action is started by driving the skip against the edge of the receiving container. The load is tipped out, and the container returns to the locked position when it is lowered. This makes the high-lid self-tipping skip well suited for routes where the same waste points are emptied several times during a shift.

Strong construction for industrial use

The container is designed for heavy industrial waste handling. The smallest 200 litre model has a load capacity of 1200 kg, the 400 litre model has a load capacity of 1500 kg, and the larger models are rated up to 2000 kg. This gives a wide choice for different waste streams, from light packaging waste to heavier scrap and production offcuts.

The standard colour is blue RAL 5019. The powder-coated finish gives the tipping skip a hard, clean surface that is easy to keep tidy and suitable for everyday warehouse and workshop use. It helps protect the steel structure from normal knocks, corrosion and everyday splashes. The blue colour also makes the container easy to recognise in busy industrial areas.
