Dexion P90 pallet racking starter bay is built for a simple goal: store Euro pallets in a clear, repeatable way so you can pick, replenish and receive goods without chaos.

The bay provides 9 Euro pallet positions in one complete starter section. With a bay width of 2750 mm and a depth of 1050 mm, it is designed for a practical three-pallet-wide arrangement. The rack height is 3000 mm, giving you vertical storage that helps free up valuable floor space while keeping loads accessible for forklift handling.

Compatible pallets and typical uses

Pallet racking is a flexible storage method because it is built around the load carrier, not one single product type. This system is suitable for EUR pallets and FIN pallets, as well as one-way pallets and customer-specific pallets. With the right add-ons, it can also support different boxes, stillages and cages, useful when your warehouse handles mixed goods and you want to keep everything in a structured location system.

Forklift access and straightforward picking

Selective pallet racking is popular for a reason: it gives direct access to every pallet position. That matters when you pick by SKU, rotate stock, or need to pull a single pallet without moving others. Loads can be handled conveniently using different types of forklift trucks and warehouse handling equipment, depending on your aisle widths and operating style.

The clear bay structure also supports practical labelling. Item label strips, upright label pockets, label holders, rack location signs and rack labels help operators put pallets back in the right place and speed up stock checks.

Accessories that make the rack work for more than pallets

Many warehouses store more than standard pallets. If you handle smaller cartons, loose items, or mixed loads, the rack can be adapted with add-ons. Common options include:

• Intermediate beams to support smaller load carriers
• Decking panels to create a continuous shelf surface
• Mesh decks (rack grating) for robust support and visibility
• Pull-out shelves where manual access is needed

These additions expand the use of the pallet rack, allowing you to store a broader range of goods while keeping the same location structure. It is a practical way to standardise storage across the facility instead of building separate shelving zones for each item type.

Safety options and standard compliance

Warehouse racking is part of the working environment, so safety and consistency matter. This pallet racking system is designed in accordance with EN 15512. For everyday use, the included beam safety locks help reduce the risk of accidental beam lift-out during handling.

To improve protection in busy aisles, the racking can be equipped with safety accessories such as post protectors, tunnel guardsand mesh backing / safety mesh. These products help reduce damage from impacts and help keep goods within the rack area.

Starter bay structure

This is a true starter bay. It comes with the components you need to begin a run of adjustable pallet racking: two end frames and four beams.

• 2 upright frames including uprights, horizontal and diagonal bracing, base plates and fixing accessories
• 4 beams supplied with safety locks

Because four beams equal two beam pairs, the bay is typically set up with two beam levels plus floor storage. That gives three storage levels in total, which matches the 9 pallet positions (3 pallets per level). Beam safety locks are included to support secure everyday operation during loading and unloading.

Load ratings and dimensions

Capacity is often the first question in pallet storage, and this bay is specified clearly for Euro pallets. The load rating is 980 kg per pallet position. For a full level of three pallets, that equals a maximum level load of 2,940 kg.

Because the rack uses beams, you can set the beam heights to suit your load and handling needs. The pallet racking system supports 50 mm height adjustment, making it easier to fine-tune clearances when pallet heights change across seasons, suppliers or product categories.

Delivery and assembly notes

The upright frames are delivered as components. This supports efficient transport and handling on site. If you prefer to receive the upright frames assembled, pre-assembled delivery is available for an additional charge. Beams are supplied with the required safety locks.
