Stainless Steel Under-Bench Cabinet Module for Clean and Efficient Workstations

A stainless steel workbench works best when the storage below it supports the daily job instead of getting in the way. This stainless steel cabinet module is made to be installed under a compatible stainless steel workbench, giving the workstation a clean, closed storage space for the items that are needed during the shift. Tools, utensils, small containers, spare parts and other supplies can be kept close to the work area, while the worktop remains free for actual work. The cabinet module is a practical choice for work areas where order, hygiene and easy cleaning matter. It uses space that would otherwise remain open under the bench, so the workstation stays compact and easier to manage.

Under-bench storage that fits the workbench

The module is not a separate freestanding cupboard. It is intended as an integrated under-bench storage unit for a stainless steel workbench. The correct module width is always selected according to the bench width. Choose a module that is 86 mm narrower than the workbench. The fixed cabinet depth is 594 mm and the height is 639 mm. Widths are available from 400 to 1,500 mm, depending on the selected door type. The 400–600 mm wide cabinet modules have one door. The 700–1,500 mm wide versions have double doors.

Hinged doors or sliding doors

The stainless steel workbench cabinet can be selected with hinged doors or sliding doors. Hinged doors are a simple and familiar choice when there is enough clear space in front of the bench. They give open access to the cabinet interior and suit many normal workstations in production, service and storage areas. Sliding door cabinet modules are available in widths from 800 to 1,500 mm. A sliding door cupboard is especially useful where the aisle or working area in front of the bench is narrow. Because the doors move sideways, they do not swing out into the walkway. This helps keep the area clear for people, trolleys and material handling.

Two stainless steel material options

The cabinet module is available in two material grades. AISI 430 / 1.4016 stainless steel is a good choice for many standard environments where a durable stainless steel surface is needed. It suits dry and controlled work areas where the cabinet is mainly used for organised storage under a stainless steel workbench.

AISI 304 / 1.4301 acid-resistant stainless steel is the more corrosion-resistant option when the environment is more demanding and an acid-resistant material is specified. It is a suitable choice for areas where moisture, cleaning routines or process conditions require better corrosion resistance. The right material choice depends on the actual workplace, the substances handled and the cleaning methods used.
