When goods need to move through a warehouse, production area or workshop without repeated trips, a high shelf trolley makes the work simpler. This 5-tier shelf trolley is one of the larger models in the range, designed for situations where shelf space matters as much as load capacity. The five shelf levels keep products, tools, parcels, components and supplies visible and separated, so the trolley is well suited to order picking, replenishment, temporary storage and day-to-day material handling.

Large 5-tier shelf trolley with practical working height

The trolley height is 1800 mm, measured from the floor to the upper arch of the frame. This makes the trolley tall enough to provide useful shelf space, while still keeping the shelves accessible in normal daily use. The clearance between the shelf levels is 285 mm, which gives room for many common boxes, cartons, components and tools. The bottom shelf is positioned 260 mm from the floor. This means the usable storage area starts low, but the goods are still raised enough for easier access than placing them directly on the floor. The design makes good use of the full height of the trolley from the bottom shelf up to the highest shelf level.

The crosswise push handle is located at a height of 870 mm. This gives the operator a natural pushing position and makes the trolley easier to guide during internal transport. A comfortable push handle is especially useful when the trolley is used often during a shift, for example in order picking, goods receiving, dispatch work or workshop logistics.

Welded steel frame for demanding daily use

The shelf trolley has a strong welded steel frame that gives the structure stability in regular professional use. A welded construction helps the trolley feel solid when it is moved, loaded and steered through working areas. The frame supports the five shelf levels and keeps the trolley practical for heavier handling tasks where a light office trolley would not be enough. The total load capacity is 500 kg. As with all material handling equipment, the load should be placed evenly and heavy items should be positioned sensibly, especially when the trolley is moved around corners, through doorways or along narrow aisles.

MDF shelves for a flat loading surface

Each shelf level is made from 12 mm MDF board. The flat shelf surface is useful for boxes, packages, tools, spare parts and other goods that need stable support during transport or temporary storage. MDF shelves also work well when the items being moved are different sizes, because the goods can be placed directly on the shelf without needing a separate tray or container. Five shelves make the trolley especially useful when several product lines or work stages must be kept apart. For example, picked items can be arranged by order, destination, assembly phase or priority. The open shelf layout gives a clear overview of the load, which helps users see what has already been collected and what still needs attention.

Solid rubber wheels for smooth movement

The standard wheel setup includes two swivel castors and two fixed wheels. This combination gives the shelf trolley both directional stability and manoeuvrability. The fixed wheels help the trolley keep a straight line when it is pushed forward, while the swivel castors make turning and positioning easier in warehouses, workshops and stockrooms. The wheels are 200 mm solid rubber wheels. Solid rubber wheels are a practical choice for regular indoor movement on typical industrial and warehouse floors. They help reduce noise and vibration compared with harder wheel materials, which makes the trolley more comfortable to use when it is moved through busy working areas. The black solid rubber wheels are supplied as standard.

Additional wheel solutions can also be considered according to the intended use. Fixed wheels, swivel castors and braked wheel options are available as accessories, so the trolley can be matched more closely to the way it will be handled on site. Braked wheels are useful when the trolley needs to stay in place during loading, unloading or temporary storage.
